Knowledge of laser marking machine

What is the difference between marking speed and jump speed?  

One is effect/result, another one is efficiency. 

Marking speed is the speed of the marking or working,  Marking fast will make teh mark shallow, marking slowly will make it deeper. 

The jump speed is when the laser doesn't emit light, the speed of laser running without lighting. 

The marking speed affects the quality of marking,  

The jump speed affects the speed of marking.
